Care for the home you own.
Use inspection findings, manufacturer instructions, and service-provider recommendations to build a schedule. A coastal home, condominium, newer construction, and older raised house can have very different responsibilities. Confirm which work is yours and which belongs to an association.
When life changes, revisit the property.
Before converting a primary home to a rental, undertaking a major project, or deciding to sell, revisit insurance, financing, taxes, association rules, and local requirements. A change in use can change the assumptions you made when purchasing.
For a possible sale, bring us your goals and the property’s records before spending heavily on improvements. A preparation conversation can help distinguish needed work from a preference that a future buyer may not share.
